Dear Supporter,
We, the rowers at the Bergen County Rowing Academy, are all still in shock by the sudden passing of our teammate, Jahnan Rahimpour. What better way to honor and remember him than to dedicate a boat in his name. His spirit would be with us for many more years to come! And Jahnan, who loved the water so much, would in spirit continue to glide over the water rowed by his teammates. Thus, we are reaching out for your help to raise the funds for a boat.
Our goal is to raise $20,000 for a brand new Vespoli Double with oars. Should we be unable to raise the full amount, we could achieve the following levels:
Around $7,000 - purchase of a pre-owned Single
Around $11,000 - purchase of a brand-new Vespoli Single
Around $15,000 - purchase of a pre-owned Double
Goal: $20,000 - purchase of a brand-new Vespoli Double
Once we raise the funds, we will order the boat and plan on a formal naming ceremony sometime in the Spring of 2025.
